What's GROWING in your garden?

So, you've found your dream home and even better, it has that garden you've always wanted.

Maybe it's a bit overgrown; maybe it's not to your taste. The options are endless so what will you do with it?

Check out the Top 3 Garden Trends for 2015.

Go Native

Plants native to a particular habitat thrive in gardens that mimic those same growing conditions. And with water conservation becoming more prevalent, native plants are becoming more commonplace in water-wise landscapes.

The 'it' plants for 2015 are likely to be small-mounding ornamental grasses, such as Feather Reedgrass and Little Bluestem.

Pollinator Gardens

Native plants are perfect for attracting birds, bees and beneficial insects, thus creating a pollinator garden. As our towns continue to grow outwards into the countryside, gardens like this will be essential to protect endangered species.

Choose from popular natives, such as Banksia, Eucalypts and Melaleuca, or add a herb bed filled with Basil, Borage, Mint, Lemon balm and Lavender.

Edible Gardens

Gone are the days when your veggie garden was hidden away behind the house! Gardeners are discovering that incorporating edible ornamentals into the garden landscape adds colour and form, and puts dinner on the table!

Some popular choices are the Star Apple, Nasturtiums, Kang Kong, Lemon Myrtle, Kale and Purple Basil.
